I have been waaaay out of the anime scene for a while now.  Can't say much of the new stuff is really catching my interest.  However, I was poking around Fry's a little while back and decided to see if anything stuck out.  It was definitely worth it.  "Nana" is by far one of the best shoujo anime series I've ever seen, especially considering I don't really like a whole lot of shoujo.  It's a drama about two twenty-year-old girls both named Nana who are polar opposites in every way.  One is a musician trying to make it big in Tokyo, and the other is a kind of flighty girl who moved to Tokyo to be with her boyfriend when he graduated, but wants

So yeah, lots of time on my hands right now and rather than doing something useful or productive, I get to obsess over Dragon Age: Origin with the rest of the gaming community.  It is far and away the best rpg I have played in a loooong time.  The characters are fantastic.  Even though they play off typical archtypes, they manage to bring something new and intriguing to the fore.  Shale, for example, rather than being the large, gruff, overbearing golem, he's a an amusing, sarcastic character with a penchant for fashionable accessories.  Go figure.  The romances are enjoyable.  I know lots of people don't seem to like Morrigan, but I do.  The
