This has got to be my favorite character of all the ones I've ever developed. In part because I created him in reverse. Normally I come up with the design and then develop their personalities and histories. In his case, I came up with him when I joined a MUD with a friend of mine (her character is also in my gallery and is entitled Noble Pride if you're interested). I wanted to play a guy because I'd always role-played girls before but only had a vague idea of what he would look like. This is what I came up with.

To his enemies he is contemptuous and indifferent, to his friends respectful and loyal, and to the ladies charming and flirtatious and always graceful, elegant, courteous and refined. The man is smooth as silk, always keeping his courtly poise and manner. An arrogant smirk seems permanently etched into his expression which is positively infuriating to his adversaries and for that matter to his friends. He's gorgeous and he knows it. Fortunately for him, the women seem to know it too. His self-confidence, which extends in some minds to the point of arrogance, doesn't detract from his appeal, but rather lends him a certain charm. This combined with the poetry that seems to drip from his tongue like nectar earned him the besotted admiration of many women of all ages and stations, but when combined with a wit sharp and quick as a rapier and half as friendly made him the bane of all who would be his foe.

He joined the Shadow Serpents, a clan relying primarily on stealth, illusion and manipulation, for the subtle power and sense of freedom it offered. While the aquisition of scales and fangs was an unforeseen consequence, it did little to disrupt his social bearing. Indeed, it only made him appear more formidable.

...This wouldn't be half so funny if it wasn't mostly true...
